Chapter 132: Chapter 132 Like a tortoise RAPHAEL
Calm down,man.
From what I’ve been told, Enzo was a coldhearted and very bold man.
He definitely wouldn’t be scared of a woman who looked as if she would rape him any moment from now.
I put on a stern look. “I’m very hungry for food right now. We had a long day yesterday and I barely had the time to eat. Everything else can wait.” I warned.
She eyed me and stormed out of the dining room.
I blew out air from my mouth.
How was she like this?
I’ve never been scared of any woman as I am of her.
MONALISA I fumed inwardly as we were both seated at the back seat of a car.
MONALISA I fumed inwardly as we were both seated at the back seat of a car.
I watched the car pull into an airfield where a private jet laid waiting.
We were on our way to our so called honeymoon.
I glanced at him wondering just how he was wired.
I found it weird that we haven’t had sex for Christ’s sake.
We’re married.
Why was he holding back?
Maybe he really was tired from all the dancing of yesterday.
I needed to have my needs met at the honeymoon.
We got down from the car and I watched his PA, Dante exchange pleasantries with the pilots and the other staff.
I grimaced, this man is always with him.
Was he coming with him to the honeymoon as well?
I waited impatiently as Dante and Enzo engaged in a conversation.
I sighed as he walked up to me, leaving Dante behind.
“Let’s get going.”
I nodded and we both got into the jet, sat beside each other and fastened our seatbelt.
I noticed he kept staring around and grinning from ear to ear.
I wondered what was so special in being in a jet.
I’m sure he had been in more than he can count.
And after a while, I noticed he brought his palms together, especially when the jet started to move.
I stared at him closely as he was starting to sweat a lot.
I frowned.
Did his accident make him scared of flying?
His face paled and before he would pass out, I placed my hand above his.
“It’s okay...Nothing bad is going to happen.”I assured.
He held onto my hand tightly as the jet took off.
I blinked and waited for him to get used to it.
The jet had been in the sky for a few minutes now and he was still holding my hand.
Seriously...when was he going to get used to this?
I cleared my throat. “See...I told you everything’s fine.” I let out.
He looked out through the window and slowly let go of my hand.
“Wow...from being terrifying...it’s so fascinating...everything looks so small.”
I get it that he was scared because of his accident but to be fascinated about this is strange.
“I don’t think I can forget this experience.”
“Why?” I asked, curiously.
“It’s my first time traveling by air.”
I frowned. “What?”
He shakily turned to face me. “I mean, it’s my first time since the accident. I might not have told you before but some of my memories are yet to come to me, so some stuff feels new.”
Oh.
I nodded in comprehension.
I leaned against my seat reeling on how good it will be to have sex on the jet.
I glanced at him and he was staring through the window.
How the hell did I end up with a clueless husband?
RAPHAEL When we arrived in Paris. I wished Dante had come with us. Ahh. He had told me he would always give me a call. But how was I supposed to survive in this place for two weeks all alone with this woman? I was told if Enzo was found within those weeks, we would get switched back and continue our respective lives. I could hardly wait. A car was waiting for us.

“Mr and Mrs Moretti.” A young man acknowledged and handed the car mobilizer to me.
I swallowed.
Dante had only given me driving lessons a few times.
I’m still not confident about it but I acted cool as we got our things into the car.
Before I could get Mona’s door, she opened it herself and got in.
I walked over and got into the driver’s seat.
I had memorized the address of the resort that was booked for our honeymoon so I inputted it into the GPS.
I started the car and drove the best way I could.
“Why are we moving like a tortoise?”Mona asked me.
“Tortoise? How?”
“You’re driving too slow. At this rate, we might get to the resort tomorrow.”
“There’s nothing wrong with the way I’m driving.” I snapped.
