Chapter 120: Chapter 120 Always and forever ALORA Caden was literally storming towards the staff quarters in his house and I tried my best to keep up. He knocked on the door, roughly. Esme opened up, looking surprised. Caden walked in and I followed him. “Caden, what...” “Esme, while you’ve been a good staff to me, I don’t know if you were in this with your daughter and frankly it doesn’t matter if you were in it with her or not. But the two of you should get your things and exit my property for good!” Ellie walked in, looking shocked to see me. “Did I just hear you, correctly? You want to kick my mother and I out? Is this what you told him to do, Alora? To abandon his child.” I scoffed. “Oh, cut the act, Ellie.” Caden moved closer to her. “Does Noah Bannerman ring a bell?” Her face instantly paled.
“We know Caden never slept with you. Noah is the father of your child and if you still want to insist Caden fathers your baby, then come with us right now and let’s get a DNA test done!” Her panicked expression confirmed everything Noah said. Esme turned to face her daughter. “Ellie, tell me they’re lying! Everything you told me can’t be lies, right? He never slept with you? You’re pinning another man’s child on him?” “It...it’s his baby!” Ellie lashed out. “Then let’s go for a DNA testing right now!” Caden ordered. “You can’t do that! The child isn’t even born yet!” “You can actually do that on a pregnancy so let’s go!” I argued. She shook her head. “There is absolutely no need to go back and forth with him.” Caden immediately called the security guards. “I should have sent you to jail for false accusations so I’m only letting you go because of how well your mother has served me for years. Get these two women out of my property!” “No! You can’t throw me out! I should be with you, Caden! I did this because I love you! I was made for you!” She yelled even as she was being dragged away. Esme stood in front of us, sadly. I instantly knew she wasn’t aware of her daughter’s evil plans. She apologized, sincerely and then left.
Caden and I sat on the rock chair on the garden reeling in what just happened. I couldn’t believe we had almost gotten separated for life because of Ellie’s scheme. I held Caden’s hand and he turned to face me. “I’m sorry for not trusting you.” “I don’t blame you for anything. I also wasn’t sure about what happened that night and I couldn’t deny that it didn’t happen so you had every right to feel hurt.” I sighed. “I don’t want to ever get separated from you. The thought of it had felt like a death sentence.” I admitted. “It was the same for me too.” He cupped my cheeks. “Let’s not ever give up on each other, okay?” I nodded. “I will never let you go.” And I meant every word of it.
TWO MONTHS LATER... It was Gianna and Mason’s wedding day. She stood outside the church as the huge doors opened. This was it. There was a pause in the music and then she heard it again. The wedding March. She was wearing the gown her mother helped her to pick out, it was exquisite and she felt like a queen as she walked down the aisle, her arm on her father’s. She saw Mason waiting for her at the alter. Suddenly, nothing else mattered about the day, none of the planning and fuss about colours or music or flowers or seating arrangement. Nothing mattered but Mason, the man she was marrying. She glanced at her mother who was sitting beside her brother, both looking so happy for her. Gianna’s heart was swelling as they got to Mason. She stared at Alora and Caden who were seated on the other side. Both looking so happy. They had both held their own wedding ceremony last month. They had decided to get married again as their first wedding ceremony was a bit complicated. This time, they had married because they were absolutely in love with each other. Now it was time for Mason and Gianna. It was time to say their vows and declare their love for each other. Mason looked at her and whispered. "I love you, darling" And she saw nothing but love in his eyes, love that he had to see reflected in hers. She had never been so happy. It didn’t matter how this love came about. It was the best feeling in the world to love and be loved by the right person and to know it was going to last forever. She couldn’t wait for the rest of their lives to start as husband and wife. And they turned to face each other, ready to begin their vows.
MANY YEARS LATER.... ALORA “Mom, tell Gavin and Lucas to stop going through my phone!" My daughter, Leah yelled walking into the dining room where Caden, Gavin and Lucas sat eating Lunch. My first child with Caden was a boy, Gavin. And three years after I had him, I took in again and nine months after that, I had twins, both boys, Luke and Lucas, though they weren’t identical. Luke had gone for his basketball practice.
He was fanatic about that sport. "Gavin, Lucas, I remembered I warned you two against that"I scolded. Gavin was in college now, they were on holidays, that was why he was home. Luke and Lucas were in senior high school while Leah is in Junior high. After witnessing me in labor, trying to bring Lucas and Luke into this world, Caden swore that I would never take in again. But I didn’t listen. I didn’t want to ever consider our family complete until I had a daughter. Don’t get me wrong, our boys were bundles of joy but they could be handfuls. I wanted a girl who I could make her hair, buy dolls for, go to the spa with, not to mention but a few. I purposely stopped taking my pills so that I would take in again. And when I did, oh boy! It was war for Caden and I. But you know, he’s my Caden. I always held an upper hand against him. I couldn’t be more happy when I had Leah. And now, our family is complete. "We were just looking for something in her bedroom when a text came in from Riley" Gavin replied but I knew he was lying about looking for something in her bedroom. "Riley?"Caden asked."That name is unisex, right?" Leah shrugged."Does it matter?" Caden smiled, stiffly."It doesn’t unless it’s a boy" "Dad, you won’t believe what he sent to her. He wanted to start a sex chat" Gavin announced. "What?!"Caden, Leah and I asked at the same time. “Yeah, he wrote...’Send me a sexy picture.” Lucas added. Caden stood up."What’s his house address?" "Who are we gonna murder?" Luke asked, walking in. "How was practice, honey?" I asked. "Fine, mom.” He replied taking a bite of a muffin. “We ain’t murdering anyone and Riley didn’t send any dirty message, he just wrote that I looked really pretty in class today" "That’s another way of saying ’Send me a picture of you know.” Gavin chipped in. "And which school of thought said that, smart-ass?" Leah asked, angrily. "Leah, don’t talk to your brother like that" "Mom, they’re lying and frustrating me" "Oh boy! I need a bath!" Luke exclaimed tugging off his jersey. “Dad, the big game is scheduled on Friday, don’t miss it" Caden grinned."I wouldn’t dare and I’m dragging the whole family along" "Seriously? Dad, I think I’m going to be sick on that day.” Gavin said and we laughed except Leah who was still fuming. "You should postpone the sickness.” Caden joked. “Hey, you all haven’t resolved this issue. A girl needs her privacy but in this house, I lack none!" Leah pressed on. "Shut up, sis. When I was at your age, I knew nothing about the opposite sex" We all turned to stare at him. No matter how hard Caden and I had tried to bring him up in the right way, he still won’t change from his constant womanizing. He was a total Playboy and everyone knows that. I felt he took after Caden because Caden was quite something when he was younger. But we were still having hope that he’ll change. Luke who had been halfway through the door turned around. "Sorry, did those words just come out of Gavin’s mouth?" We laughed at him but he frowned. "What? When I was a teenager, I was the male version of the holy Mary" "Oh shut up.” Caden chuckled. Leah stormed off, still angry. I would have to talk to Caden later. But no matter how hard I talked to him, he was still in support of the boys. Hell, his overprotectiveness was worse than theirs. I didn’t know if it was because she was the last child and only girl, he spoils her to a fault but when it comes to her keeping male friends, he was strongly against it. Luke and I were the only ones who gave her breathing space about the issue. The others needed to understand that someday, whether they like it or not, she was going to have a boyfriend, a man to love her, romantically and genuinely. All and all, I loved the life I had built with Caden. I was now a veteran actress, my children and my husband were always rooting me career wise and in anything I choose to do and I was always rooting for them as well. I loved this family I had created with Caden.
In the evening of that day, I walked up to our bedroom, opening the door, I found a trail of roses leading to the bathroom. A smile curled my lips as I followed it and found Caden leaning against the tiled wall... naked and hard. I licked my lips.
“My Queen." He began and closed the distance between us. I was going to talk about Leah tonight but that was going to wait. He freed me from my clothes and strapped a necklace around my neck. He was always gifting me with different jewelries and making sure they all go with an inscription. I opened the locket and read the inscription. Always and Forever . I blushed. "Always and forever, my love"I said to him and he kissed me deeply. He always tells me I gave him everything, a happy life, a family, a purpose, well, he gave me all that too. THE END OF ALORA AND CADEN’s STORY. The next Chapter is a PART 2. Let’s find out what became of Ellie’s actions.
