Chapter 130: Chapter 130 Dancing wildly MONALISA What the hell was he waiting for? Just kiss me and let’s get to the next part of this day. He finally moved closer to me and bent his head. Sighing, I held the lapels of his jacket and our lips touched. His eyes fluttered close and his body trembled violently. Sensing his reaction, I snaked my hand around his back, pulling him even closer. When my tongue touched his, it was as if my brain was disconnected from my body and mouth. His sweetness exploded onto my tongue the moment I licked over his lips. His mouth parted in a gasp and I took full advantage, delving deep into his moist heat. He made the hottest sounds. I swallowed them up as I devoured every inch of his mouth. I was transfixed by his full bottom lip. .
I nipped lightly at it, teasing it to the fullness and then I sucked it between my teeth. His tongue stroked tentatively over mine, just light brushes with the tip and then he grew bolder, taking a more active part in the kiss. “Hmm.” The priest cleared his throat in front of us and I recalled that this was supposed to be a socially simple kiss. I slowly pulled back and stared up at his upturned face. His cheeks were as red as a tomato. It took a second for him to open his eyes, I read the reaction in their dark chocolate depths, shock and confusion and something much more potent...fear. Fear? I must be terrible at reading people’s facial expression. He has no reason to be scared. How can the almighty Lorenzo be scared?
RAPHAEL I tried to act cool and collective but I was burning up inside. How could she devour my mouth like that? I felt violated. When we emerged from the church, all my thoughts scattered. A barrage of press awaited us, the camera flashes almost blinding me, and a huge cheering crowd had gathered across the road. I was tensed at being in front of so many people. I took a lot of deep calming breaths. This life wasn’t for me at all. I don’t want it. I was glad when we were led to the awaiting cars. The reception was held at my house, I mean Enzo’s house. Can he be found tomorrow so he can take back his life? I didn’t sign up to pretend to be him for this long. Just few days into this felt like a year. “This is your house?” Mona asked me as the car pulled into the compound. I nodded. “Couldn’t you have gotten a bigger one?” I frowned. “This is quite big enough if you ask me.” She scoffed. “It’s just...” She paused and rolled her eyes. I grimaced. She was such a rude brat. I got down from the car and walked over to open the door for her.
Dante and I already practiced some gentleman manners. “I can open it myself.” She snapped and got down. I was certain that Enzo might have offended her before he went missing because it was annoying to think that this was the way she is.
MONALISA Three staff in pristine black and white uniforms were waiting for us at the top of the steps. They blurred and morphed into a jumble of names and faces as Enzo introduced them all. He turned to face me. “Come, I’ll show you to your room, where you can freshen up, the guests will be arriving at the back of the house where a wedding Marquee has been erected for the reception." I ignored his outstretched hand and followed him slowly up the stairs. I stared at his house not really impressed by it. I would have to change some paintings, if I would be living here, the paintings on the walls, the furniture, everything has to match my taste. Enzo waited at the top of the stairs, hands in his pockets and looking rakishly handsome that I couldn’t help but smirk. I wonder how he was going to take me tonight. A man like him definitely liked it rough. And I do too. I climbed the last few steps and followed him as he led me down a wide, luxuriously carpeted hallway. At the end, he indicated two doors which were facing each other. “This is my bedroom.” He pointed to the left. “And this is yours.” He opened the door at the right and I walked in with him. I looked around in horror. The bed, the walls, the couch, the electronic gadgets. I opened a door to see that it was my new closet. I sighed. “I would have to make some renovations.” I announced. “Why?” He asked. “It doesn’t suit my taste.” He crossed his arms. “You’re joking, right?Dante had been here for days with some men making sure your bedroom would be comfortable for you. They spent a lot of money too. I for one think this is too much for you. Do you know a lot of people do not have the luxury of living like this?” What was wrong with him? “Why are preaching to me? I do not like this bedroom and I want it arranged again...my way.” “You’re so spoilt.” He let out. I gasped, shocked. “We might be married, Enzo but I do not tolerate insults from anyone.” “Suit yourself.” He snapped and walked out of the bedroom. My jaw dropped. If he thinks I would be bullied in this marriage, he’s got another thing coming. I would not be controlled by any man!
My face had gone numb from faking smiles to a lot of people who had come far and wide for my wedding.
My family and his looked so happy though. “I’m so glad that you’re finally married, Mona.” My father said to me coming over to my side. I swallowed seeing my brother walking up to us. “At long last, we won’t have to keep covering up scandals about you and your numerous lovers.” My brother, Diego began. Ramos laughed. “It was such a wise decision to marry her off, Father.” “Stop it, you two. I did this because I know Lorenzo is a good man. He assured me he would always be nice to her.” He gently pulled me away from my brothers and then he held my hands. “Mona, I’m sorry for forcing you into this but I feel this is the man you need. You’ve been through so much and I believe he can finally make you happy. I hope you can open your heart to him.” I blinked and nodded. Open my heart to him? No...that part of my body has been closed permanently. Suddenly, we heard laughter from the guests and when we looked at the dance floor. I gasped seeing my new husband dancing wildly to the beat of a hip hop song.
