Chapter 110: Chapter 110 Being pregnant ALORA
Ever since we got back from the Bahamas, I haven’t been feeling really well.
I had this odd cravings, I felt extremely weak in the mornings. I wasn’t the lazy type but of recent, I get tired easily and I’m picky over the food I eat.
At first, I thought it had come with the relief of Vanessa getting caught. I mean, it was a huge relief to know no one was after my life now.
I still can’t believe she was jealous of me to the point of trying to get me killed.
It was even more shocking to know that she had killed a lot of people before. I was literally working with a demon on set.
You can never truly know someone. I just thought she was a spoilt rich brat who loved to yap and wasn’t bold enough to do shit.
But she was literally an evil person.
I was glad she was going to be locked up for the rest of her life.
Today, I was feeling really sick again. I stared at Caden, weakly as he knotted his tie.

I loved doing that for him but right now,I feel too tired.
He sat on the bed and tenderly brushed some strands of my hair out of my face.
"I hate seeing you sick, my love. Are you sure we don’t need to call the doctor?"
"No, I feel better than yesterday...I’ll be fine before you know it" I assured.
And then it occurred to me that I had missed my period.
Could I be pregnant?
The possibility was high, given that Caden and I had stopped using any sort of protection, recently.
I wasn’t on the pill and we had once talked about having babies already.
"Call me if you need anything, okay?" Caden said to me.
I nodded.
He kissed me and then he left.
Knowing I had to figure out if I had fallen pregnant, I sent for a pregnancy kit.
Almost two hours later found me staring at the result of the pregnancy kit. I was pregnant! I stared at my belly, joy reeling through me and unable to believe that I was with child. Before I could even process my happiness, Caden came back home at noon. I guess we could process it together. “My love, your condition got me really worried at work and I couldn’t focus at work. I had to come home to make sure that you’re okay, how are you feeling?" He asked walking into room and coming over to sit beside me. . I stared at him and gestured at the pregnancy kit on the bedside table. He frowned, taking hold of it. "Well...I don’t think I’m sick...maybe my body was trying to get used to forming something else" Surprise etched on his forehead. “You’re...you’re...?” "I’m pregnant"I confessed. I saw tears filled his eyes. “You’re going to have my baby?!” “Yes, Caden. We’re going to be parents.” He closed the distance between us, hugging me, tightly. “Oh, Alora, I feel like the most blessed man on earth.” He quickly moved back. “Sorry, I have to be super careful and gentle with you now.” He then stood up, pacing around with excitement. “So that was why you’ve been feeling sick. You still look pale. We have to go see the doctor immediately. We have to make sure you’re okay.” I laughed at how tensed he looked “I haven’t lunch yet.” I whined.

“I’ll quickly go make sure that’s ready. Oh God, my wife is pregnant! I’m going to be a dad.”
His happiness was so contagious.
I had lunch and he insisted of bathing me himself.
I just knew I was so going to love being pregnant for this man.
As we walked out of the bedroom, Caden carried me into his arms.
I laughed. “I can walk, Caden. I’m pregnant not handicapped.”
He smiled. “I love carrying you.”
I leaned against him.
What can I say?
I loved it too.
When we got to the hospital, I wasn’t surprised to see that my husband had come with a notebook and pen. He wrote down everything the doctor said to make sure I had a safe and healthy pregnancy, what I should eat and shouldn’t eat. What I should drink and shouldn’t drink, what I should do and shouldn’t do. Plus how to handle the morning sicknesses and other effects that came with being pregnant. “Is it safe for her to have sex during the period?” Caden suddenly asked. My eyes widened and my cheeks flushed. But I also wanted to know. “Since she doesn’t have any history of cervical illness, it is safe.” The doctor turned to face me. “Do your pregnancy symptoms include frequent abdominal pain or cramps?” “No.” “Then she’s cleared to have sex, Mr Ford. Plus, it has some health benefits.” I smiled at that. I would need plenty of the health benefits. “Thank you, doc.” “Just be careful and mindful of some positions.” And that sent Caden into a panic mode again. “I’ll go get a pen and paper right now so you could list out the positions that’s not safe for her.” Gosh. Was he seriously having this conversation with a doctor right now? He really got a pen and paper and wrote down whatever the doctor said. Even if I found this a bit silly, it was so adorable to watch and it just made me love him more. There was no doubt that he was going to be a great dad. The doctor said I should rest for a few hours before leaving. It was confirmed that I was six weeks pregnant.

Caden sat on the bed and held my hand.
I smiled. “What if the doctor had said it wasn’t safe for me to have sex during the gestation period?”
“Then we won’t have sex. I would never do anything that would harm you or the baby.”
I beamed at him.
But I personally don’t think I would have been able to wait that long.
Thank God, I could still do it because I was addicted to this man.
“How do you feel? Do you feel any discomfort? Do you need me to go get you anything?” Caden asked, stroking my hair.
“Don’t treat me so delicately. It’s just pregnancy.” I let out.
“You’re delicate, Sweetheart and now that you’re pregnant, you’re more than delicate. And it’s not just pregnancy. Don’t blame me for being this way with you, I already know the next few months will be hard for you and I don’t want to add to it. All I want to do to make it easier in any way possible. You’re making the ultimate sacrifice of carrying our baby for nine months and I want to make this experience blissful for you.”
My cheeks were starting to hurt from smiling too much.
I felt so happy.
I already love being pregnant for this man.
