Xin hold off the [Shell of Oceanic Powers] since he might need it.
Having a Tier-4 water spell made him more confident in battles.
Anyway, Xin was astonished at how ridiculously high the prices of these rare items were in the auctions.
It seemed like the pockets of the rich players were bottomless, or maybe it was because every major corporation wanted to possess these rare items in their Guild Storage.
He had read that rare, very rare, legendary/artifact, and wondrous items were highly sought after and could even be used as a ticket to join prestigious guilds.
Many guilds saved up these items to use during raids, battles, guild wars, or as coveted rewards for their members to make them perform their best.
For players, money seemed to hold less importance compared to the value of rare items, and Xin saw this as an opportunity to exploit the market.
As soon as he got home, Xin logged into the game and prepared to head to the last isley, the Luckernaught Coast.
Upon arriving at Seagull’s Nest, Xin started asking around for the chain quest related to Illyath’s quest.
He started with the NPCs who hold power in the island like Drasta and Glesga. But before he could begin searching for them, a boy approached him, delivering a message from Drasta.
Apparently, Drasta was asking him to meet her at the beach.
Without hesitation, Xin hurried over to the shore where he saw Drasta crouched, engrossed in picking up shells.
"These shells are new to me," she remarked, examining her findings closely.
Curious, Xin looked over, but he couldn’t see anything particularly unusual about them.
"I’m glad you’re here, Lord Schrodinger. The reefs have been under attack. Something is dwelling in the rocky isles to the north. Do you see them over there?" She pointed towards the horizon, where natural monoliths rose from the sea like the fingers of a submerged giant.
Drasta explained that the waves, tides, and corals had all been affected, and she was certain that a large creature was behind it.
She requested Xin’s help in dealing with the creature, promising him rewards, including an item from her personal Luckernaught collection.
"Do you accept the quest?"
Xin nodded without a second thought.

Quest Type: Exploration / Combat
Quest Overview: Drasta, the local druid, has noticed alarming changes in the bay’s water levels and increased wave activity.
She suspects that a large monster has taken up residence in a cluster of rocky isles nearby, wreaking havoc on the reefs in its quest for food.
Drasta seeks your help in eliminating the creature.
Quest Location: The bay in front of the town, particularly around the rocky islets.
Background: Drasta is concerned that if she sends men from town to deal with the monster and they fail, it could damage both her and Glesga’s reputations.
This might lead to rumors of Reef Raiders lurking around the town, causing unnecessary panic among the locals.
The monster’s migration to the rocky isles is due to the absence of whales in the region, which it previously avoided.

"I can offer you a small boat with a sail and oars that can hold up to six Medium creatures and six crocodiles with exotic saddles," Drasta explained.
Xin appreciated the boat, but why the Crocodiles?
Drasta noticed his confusion and quickly clarified, "Oh, no. These saltwater crocodiles won’t follow the boat unless they are ridden. You can use one as a mount. If you wish to form a party, you can take the boat and some mounts with you."
The idea of riding a crocodile as a mount was intriguing, but Xin couldn’t help but wonder how these massive creatures would fit on a boat.
"I will have them prepared for you at the pier and you can go whenever you’re ready," Drasta offered.
Xin nodded, deciding to give it a try.
He then made his way to the harbour. If the monster became too much, he could always choose not to engage, return to the island, and plan his next course of action.
Upon reaching the harbor, Xin was genuinely surprised to see that his mount was indeed a crocodile, waiting patiently with an exotic saddle.
It was an experience unlike any other he had encountered in Guildbane nor in real life.
The crocodile that waited at the harbor was a magnificent sight to behold. It was a massive creature with dark green scales shimmering under the sunlight.
Its muscular body was lined with rugged, armor-like plates, giving it a formidable appearance. Sharp, serrated teeth lined its powerful jaws, adding to its fearsome look.
However, despite its imposing appearance, the crocodile didn’t show any signs of hostility. Its golden eyes had a curious glint as they fixed on Xin, almost as if it was sizing him up.
Xin couldn’t help but notice that the creature seemed unusually calm and composed as if it was accustomed to having adventurers approach and mount it.
As Xin stepped closer to the crocodile, it moved its massive tail gently, making a low rumbling sound that almost sounded like a purr. It seemed to be inviting him to come closer and mount it.
Xin cautiously reached out and placed a hand on its rough, scaly back. Surprisingly, the crocodile didn’t flinch or show any signs of discomfort. It almost felt like the creature welcomed his touch.
