Chapter 116: Invisible Stalker Initially, Xin was left perplexed, wondering why Midnight Duchess was attacking air. He had seen nothing, sensed nothing out of the ordinary.

But upon closer scrutiny, it became clear that an entity of pure elemental air had manifested itself, taking on a form that was nearly imperceptible to the unaided eye.

This ethereal assailant’s appearance was a bewitching spectacle — an almost hypnotic choreography of translucent air currents as if a minuscule whirlwind had gracefully assumed a vaguely humanoid shape.

In the midst of the ensuing chaos, Victor seized the moment to offer a belated warning. "I should have mentioned earlier that this area is sometimes frequented by Invisible Stalkers."

"I should have mentioned earlier that this area is sometimes frequented by invisible Stalkers," Victor admitted without a care, a grin playing on his lips.

Rever chimed in with a finger skimming over his chin, "Hmm . . . I did read about this. Invisible Stalkers guard the secrets of the ice pit. They hide within the freezing darkness, striking swiftly and viciously with bone-chilling winds. They master the art of invisibility, and the dungeon’s frigid guardian is a constant reminder of its perilous nature."

Yuzuro couldn’t help but express her exasperation. "And you guys mention this now?" It was a frustrating revelation; these were enemies they couldn’t even see, let alone defend against.

At least she couldn’t see them, but looks like Rever and the others could perfectly see their enemies.

Rever tried to offer some reassurance. "Don’t worry, you have me and two top players here with you."

Yuzuro’s skepticism didn’t lessen. "That doesn’t make me feel any better," she lamented, though she readied her staff in anticipation of needing to heal her allies.

She might be scared all the time, but she knew how to step her foot forward when needed be.

Victor directed Xin, "Now is the time to summon your golems."

In response, Xin nodded, and in a matter of seconds, golems materialized before them. The simpler ones where DEF only mattered.

He would create DPS ones when he had set the Tanky Golems in a defensive formation.

And as if on cue, pandemonium broke loose. Hundreds of Invisible Stalkers materialized out of thin air and launched a frenzied assault on unsuspecting players.

The surprise attacks, cloaked by invisibility, caught many players off guard. Some managed to evade the initial onslaught, but others, less fortunate, suffered devastating critical hits.

Those who had the misfortune of engaging the invisible assailants entered frantic battles, fighting desperately to fend them off.

Thankfully, the Invisible Stalkers had low HP, making them relatively easy to defeat.

However, their sheer numbers and the element of surprise allowed them to land critical blows on players, reducing their numbers significantly.

Xin himself still couldn’t see these invisible creatures. He probably lacked the necessary stat to see them. It makes sense since he was only in the level 40 mark.

The protective circle of Golems that surrounded him acted as an impenetrable shield, intercepting the incoming attacks.

Meanwhile, Yuzuro remained within this protective formation, diligently healing everyone whenever their HP dipped dangerously low.

However, none of them were having trouble with the Invisible Stalkers that would make Yuzuro expend MP on their health.

Victor, Midnight Duchess, and Rever moved with incredible skill and precision, handling the onslaught of Invisible Stalkers with effortless ease.

Their movements were almost supernatural, as if they had eyes everywhere, detecting every incoming attack and pinpointing the exact locations of these elusive creatures.

In a blink of an eye, they dispatched the Stalkers with deadly precision, each strike landing with unerring accuracy.

Xin found himself entranced by their exceptional combat prowess, watching in awe as the trio effortlessly neutralized the invisible threats.

He was made clear of the disparity between their levels.

Midnight Duchess moved with grace and precision that belied her deadly intent. Her lithe form seemed to dance through the air as she weaved between the Invisible Stalkers.

Clad in shadowy attire that merged seamlessly with her surroundings, she was a master of stealth and evasion.

With her daggers, she struck like a viper, targeting vital points with surgical precision. Her strikes were swift and lethal, and each blade seemed to find its mark effortlessly.

As she dispatched one Invisible Stalker, she seamlessly transitioned to the next, her movements deadly and silent.

Meanwhile, Victor was a whirlwind of steel. His swords flashed in the dimly lit chamber as he expertly parried and countered the invisible assailants. His strikes were a blur, and his dual blades seemed to move as one, creating a deadly dance of steel.

With unmatched dexterity and speed, Victor engaged multiple Invisible Stalkers simultaneously, making it seem as though he was everywhere at once. His attacks were calculated and precise, striking down his foes with deadly efficiency.

. Rever, on the other hand, was a force of nature unto himself. His massive form was a bulwark against the Invisible Stalkers’ assaults.

With his immense strength, he swung a colossal fist that cleaved through the air and struck down any Stalker that dared to approach. His roars echoed through the chamber, a primal sound that struck fear into the hearts of their foes.

Rever’s attacks were brutal and unrelenting, and his sheer physical power sent Invisible Stalkers flying with each swing of his mighty claws.

Xin was amazed that Rever could transform at will into a massive wolf that could crush his foes with a single paw.

Together, these three fought in perfect harmony, their unique combat styles complementing each other flawlessly even though they weren’t the best of friends.

They were a symphony of death, an unstoppable force against the Invisible Stalkers.

Also, Xin was keenly aware that Hilda was doing her own thing at a distance. She was a hurricane, an unstoppable force that reduced the Invisible Stalker’s number all the more.

Xin’s golems formed an impenetrable barrier around him, their stony bodies providing an additional layer of defense.

The Invisible Stalkers who dared to approach were swiftly cut down by the deadly trio. Their attacks were so synchronized that it was nearly impossible to discern where one attacker ended and another began.

The Invisible Stalkers fell one by one, their forms dissipating into nothingness as they were vanquished.

Xin didn’t even have to raise a finger or summon his golems to attack.

In fact, he felt almost redundant in this battle.

The fight was over almost as quickly as it had begun, and Xin hadn’t needed to do anything.
